-I've heard many more albums than I've rated. Some albums I feel can be rated after the first listen, whereas others take multiple listens and still others take years. It's just how I work.

-I find most hip hop tough to rate for some reason. I listen to it sometimes but it's almost always noticeably absent from my ratings for this reason.

-If I don't like an artist, I don't listen to that artist's entire discography and downrate all the albums. If I hear a song I don't like, I don't even listen to that album. That's why my average rating is so high. I make a point of listening to music I think I'll like and that I'll want to encourage others to hear.

-No matter who you are, you probably like something mainstream.

-Groove metal rules and nu metal isn't bad. Shoot me now. I don't care.
