One of my favourite things in life is discovering new music which is awesome, especially if it is awesome in a unique way. So please, if you really love some piece of music recommend it to me, describing why you think it is awesome so I have the best chance of 'getting it', so to speak. I am mainly into metal and prog rock, however I do enjoy a bit of reggae and dub at times. There aren't many bands whose whole catalogue I like so maybe don't judge me by my favourite bands, but rather check out the albums I rate. Apart from this I'm hoping to expand my tastes so I'll give any music a go.


A little about my ratings:

Some albums I will have listened to lots before rating, others maybe only a few times. Let me know if you think my ratings are wrong as it is possible I haven't quite "got it" yet, or I haven't quite got sick of it yet haha.

Also note that I don't have many friends who share much of my music tastes, so for the most part music I rate has been music I've decided I will like by looking online. In fact it is most likely they are albums given 5 stars by people who's music tastes I respect. Therefore, as I need to differentiate between the music I listen to, I will likely have albums ranked 3 which other people with similar music tastes will rank 5.
