Okay, here is how I am rating things:

5) A magical recording which always brings pleasure

4.5) Virtually flawless in all aspects

4) A favorite record which I can definitely recommend

3.5) A definite cut above average (although it may be below average for some artists)

3) An enjoyable, average record

2.5) So-so, neither very good nor very bad

2) Nothing special here, although I've heard worse

1.5) While I might see where some may like this, it does nothing for me

1) This is bad in so many ways, it is hard to listen to

0.5) I never listen to this and wonder why I'm hanging on to it (if, in fact, I still own it)
