I do indeed love film and spend an unhealthy amount of time writing screenplays. One of these days I plan to migrate my imdb ratings over, but with 1,200+ to sort through, it's simply too large of a project at the moment.

Thank you for the kind words re: the podcast. I never listened back to it because I hate hearing myself talk, but I'm guessing there was entertainment to be had there. Forcing Patrick to listen to Twenty One Pilots was a good idea for everyone but him.

Thanks for that. I think part of my disappointment with it was the fact that there WAS stuff I liked in it, I thought the high school setting and how effortlessly diverse and good-natured that section was worked in a charming way. But yeah the action scenes, film making and subservience to the greater MCU really bothered me and made the film lose so much identity, that and the sense that RDJ was really phoning it in this time. I would have loved nothing more than to see a bonafide Spider-Man movie, but what I got was about half of that watered down with another Avengers-lite conservative blockbuster.

summertime's definitely the right time for some smooth and neo soul. I just got into Peace Beyond Passion and that's been hittin the spot.
