I played trombone in our high school stage band from 1981 to 1983 (in Dallas). We kicked ass, and performed in many contests. We didn't get an LP out, but I have the 1983 concert on cassette (and burned to CD-R). It was recorded off the radio, as our annual spring shows were broadcast live back then. I was just "good enough" to be with these guys, but some of them were at a very high level. We also were in a rock band that played a lot of old Chicago as well as modern hits like Toto and the like. Wasn't school sanctioned but it was a lot of the same guys. Our guitarist could jam.
Sweet! I never did get an original of Biglietto. One of those albums you have to find a reputable dealer for, or you end up with the bootleg. I do have Celeste and DNA though!
Oh yea, I know Taro. Legendary dealer. I think I bought some stuff from him in the 90s! Yea, you really did cough up some body parts then. That's the reason we work though right? I used to also buy from Tadashi. He popped into ebay for a short while a couple of yeas back, and I grabbed a few things, but I don't think he liked the prices there LOL. Not sure if he has a website though.
I've gotten through some of your D's already, and I'm up to page 250 in your collection. I need to be able to remember what it is I'm looking for when I get to a show such as the upcoming FMU record fair.
Been a fan since I saw Blackmore and the guys do Mandrake Root on the Playboy After Hours tv show in 1968. Got their 1st and every one since, so it's been a great ride.
RIP Knicks 16-17...
