yooo!! Man you moved from Hollywood FL to NYC! Two places I'd love to live. I took a vacay to Surfside bout a month ago. Actually maybe I wouldn't wanna live properly in NYC cuz it's so expensive and dirty but damn do I love to visit. You must be no stranger to high rent prices!

yeah we have some decent cultural contributions but the weather sucks a lot and we're in the middle of nowhere. But rent is super cheap. I'm a 20 minute walk to work (usually a 7 minute bike ride when there's no snow) and my rent is under 400 to have my own bedroom, four guys in a four bed and we all pay that. So that's about as convenient as it gets huh? But still. If I lived on that Florida coast man I'd never get any work done. It was total paradise to go out there and just fry by the beach every day, really one of the best trips I've been on. For a Minnesotan in february it was like heaven. Same thing with going to NYC and seeing a bunch of amazing shows I'd never see anywhere else. I went for the CMJ festival a few times and stayed with my friend in Bed Stuy. He had to downsize and sell most of his stuff to live in NYC, sleeps on a mattress pad, and moved from apartment to apartment in a taxi cab because he owns so little. Living in the big city...
