I'm just a guy who likes good music and to discover new good music.

I tend to write something to everything that I rate here. Will someone read it? I innocently believe yes.
There is almost no very technical neither very long reviews, I try to point some key elements, some best songs etc. to be brief. So, some terms I common use, inevitably will be very repeated.

Have you read me? Yes? Thanks! Don't agree with something I said? Well, don't get mad, just different opinions right?! Do you have a point you want to share? Please do it, I'm open to read it and consider it, only alienated people can't change their own opinions.

I'm no down-rater nor up-rater. I listen to any and everything I rate here and I'm very honest in my ratings.

I'm very rigorous with rating music - A two and a half stars rating is not a bad thing, four stars rating is an amazing one, a four and a half stars rating is equivalent to most people's five stars rating (well, sometimes, the four already is), and my five stars rating are simply very rare, as I save it for really unique and perfect pieces of music.

As reference, below is my RYM's Stars rating system and what it means in a 0 to 10 scale.

5.0 Stars -> (9.6 - 10): Perfect - The very rare ones, music transcending its limits, transcending what we know as art itself, and being something more. You must listen to all of this even in your afterlife.

4.5 Stars -> (9.0 - 9.5): Masterpiece - The rare ones, just genial and amazing music, some timeless, some influential, maybe some underground, and all of it in a very high level of art and creative geniality. You MUST listen to all of this before you die.

4.0 Stars -> (8.0 - 8.9): Great - The superb, the great, works of music, the artist's creativity in a very high level, but yet not genial, not enough to be a masterpiece. You'll really want to live enough to hear all of this.

3.5 Stars -> (7.0 - 7.9): Very Good - nothing amazing, just good and enjoyable music highly above average, but maybe not so creative and possible with some minor flaws. You'll really enjoy what you listen here before you die.

3.0 Stars -> (5.5 - 6.9): Good - Just normal music well produced. Neither very creative nor innovative nor influential. Still enjoyable music a little above average. Probably this will be what you listen most in your life, enjoyable, though you will regret dying and have only listened to this.

2.5 Stars -> (4.0 - 5.4): Average - Just average and/or a little below average works. Less highlights and memorable parts, more flaws. Depending on the artist, little disappointment lies here. You can live without listening to most of this.

2.0 Stars -> (3.0 - 3.9): Disposable or Unessential - Simply irrelevant music. Not annoying at all, but absolutely nothing memorable, and dependent on the artist, this is also the common rate for high disappointments. You CAN live and die without listening to any of this.

1.5 Stars -> (2.0 - 2.9): Poor - Very poorly creative music. Constant repetitions of ideas. Annoying. You MUST live and die without listening to any of this.

1.0 Stars -> (1.0 - 1.9): Awful - Very bad music. Not even some low average songs are present here. Very annoying. Be careful, maybe you'll die if you listen to this.

0.5 Stars -> (0.0 - 0.9): Complete Crap - The worst things are here, most of just commercial, radio friendly, mainstream black music, emo, almost all sorts of teen music etc. Usually I don't even rate these things cause I don't even get to it, if something I rated appear under a 0.5 star rate, probably my curiosity led me to something I did not know, my intuition failed or I misunderstood another people's reviews and committed a mistake. You WILL die if you listen to this.

Note:
2.5 stars and 3.0 stars comprises a broader range of ratings (4.0 to 6.9), the average ones (Low Average to Good), since there's not a lot of variation in average works, unlike 4.5 stars and 5.0 stars (9.0 to 10.0) rated albums which are in the highest level of art and creativity, being very unique.
Summing up, there is more difference between a 9.2 and a 9.8 rated album than between a 4.2 and 5.3 rating.
