another Tiny Tim fan <3 you also seem to know some interesting jazz as well. I've pretty much gone by the yearly charts when it comes to jazz, but I've wanted to dig deeper. will be looking through your ratings and lists faithfully ;)
oh dang, that's right up my alley. but even though it's possibly even more whitemenwithelectricguitarcentric, I'd be up for a good book or two on metal, because it has its own narrative that may have broken off from Rock History and crosses over into it every once in a while, but which is still very much its own and I'm not nearly as familiar with the intricacies of it as I am the Rolling Stone/Pitchfork pop/rock master narrative.
since you gave Cherry's Brown Rice five stars, I figured this would be a good recommendation. don't let it being on ECM scare you off, it's not the typical inoffensive stuff they're known for.
Hello. Thanks for the comment on the fake giallo list - yes, it is in general order of preference. Vision Heat I have at #21. Did you mean Sickness to Insanity being the best one? Umberto is also included somewhere. And unfortunately, Antwerp Killer is/was a real movie.
hey mate, i'm absolutely entranced by your mixtapes and am so glad that the powers that be brought me to your corner of the web.
the time and energy you put into curating such pieces of art is genuinely improving my life & i couldn't be more grateful to you and your mates for weaving the dream weapons that you do.
still making my way through them, lots of time spent on each slows down my exploration of more, but it's beautiful, mate, thank you for adding to the world.
