Hey, guys. I'm Shane, a student over at some college in Georgia, and I happen to be a bit of a music aficionado. My earliest memories tend to revolve around music - I don't know where I was going to or what I was doing. All I knew was that I was listening to music.

My first band I really fell in love with was Aerosmith - at first, it was just curiosity with their recent stuff, but a teacher who noticed this directed me towards their classic releases: "Get Your Wings," "Toys in the Attic," "Rocks," and "Draw the Line." Amazing how an 8-year-old autistic loved to jump around and dance to songs about heroin addiction, sex, infidelity, and the other topics that Steven Tyler and Joe Perry did every night before a concert.

Then I was directed towards pop-punk, classic punk, alternative rock, classic rock, experimental rock, avant-jazz, cool jazz, boogie rock, disco, hard bop, metal, shoegazing, Britpop, prog-rock, comedy rock, J-rock, and much more that will probably take an hour to list.

I'm also a bit of a record collector. Yeah, my collection doesn't seem much, but I personally think it's a neat hobby.
