Love music, but not all of it. I write and record a lot of my own songs. I'm a tough critic of others music, and my own.

This is a general idea of my rating system, borrowed from one of the members of a forum I used to frequent:

5 - Flawless; a classic milestone in music. A must hear. One of my loves.
4 - Enjoyable album with some standout parts, maybe even a few good hits, but falls short of great.
3 - Average. Perhaps contains a mix of good and bad songs, or just a whole bunch of average songs. The kind of album you leave playing in the background that only sparingly catches your attention.
2 - Boring. Annoying. Indifferent. You may not want to hear this more than once.
1 - Absolute shit. If it were a person, I would condone, and possibly aid in it's destruction.

Of course, my own personal tastes are a factor in these ratings, so if you see a low rating on an album you love, fuck you. You're wrong.
