DS3? If you mean the PS3 controller, the clip is still coming in the mail, so I haven't tried it yet. The PS3 controller can use bluetooth to connect to the phone, but only if it is rooted (otherwise it needs the cable plugged in with an OTG cable). A PS4 controller can connect to bluetooth without rooting it first.

I haven't attempted becasue I only have a PS3 controller, which is a bit more involved than the PS4 controller to get it to link to the phone. I believe you need an OTG cable to link it in the first place for the PS3 controller and the OTG cable is still coming in the mail (it is coming from China so it won't be here for weeks).

Well I *could* go somewhere to get it, but I'm not in a big rush and if I order it online from China it only costs like 80 cents lol. I have to wait on the clip to come in the mail anyway (which I would have a harder time finding) so may as well wait for them at the same time.

I got my stuff in the mail and it is working for me as well. Sixaxis enabler is sometimes finicky to pair, for whatever reason, but the phone clamp helps a lot in making it convenient to play. I don't have to prop up the phone and play, I can just use it like a large handheld device.

That app says it requires root access and I haven't yet rooted my phone. If I keep having issues, I'll look into it. Though it may just be because I don't keep my PS3 controller very charged, so maybe it doesn't want to pair until it gets a certain amount of charge.
