to your question about RTS games — C&C Red Alert 2 was always my personal favorite in the genre and I think that it does a very great job of introducing the genre, being complex enough to offer great depth but not complex enough to be perplexing to a beginner. it's where i started with the genre personally. another one i could recommend is Solaris by Paradox, it's way more slow-paced than C&C and feels somewhat more of a futuristic sandbox — though it could be more advisable to watch a guide alongside it, as it's a game that gets, well, complex. if you find both of these too much (which you could, and it's understandably so) — XCOM 2 and games like SimCity 3000/Cities Skylines/Jurassic Park Evolution can be just the thing for you — they're way more simple but very fun nevertheless

what are your favorite doom 2 and blood levels?

righteous man. industrial zone is so good and the pit, people like to trash talk sandy petersen but that map by him is pretty great. ganglion depths and the haunting in blood are my favorites, the atmosphere and design are just too fun. what kind of DnB if you don't mind me asking?
