The remixed bonus takes (2nd cd) are great, and sound better than the bootlegs. However, for now I'm only rating the whole thing 4 stars. I'm not quite enjoying Giles remixing of the original album. It sounds more like he took each track, and worked on it like a single, with no regards to keep it similar to the original. A bit hard to explain, but I need a few more listens.
Heatwave passed, a nice, cloudy summer evening in northern spain, listenin to early pantera albums -cant beleive theyre so underrated, they had fantastic hair metal songs, what's to hate?
Oh yes, lucky you could meet the little big name in person. I'm not a big Anselmo fan, I admit, I saw them opening for KISS in 97 or 98, but can't stomach Pantera beyond "Cowboy from Hell" (which is very good, though a bit of a poser kind of metal if you ask me)
Do you know April Wine? I'm gonna recommend you 2 albums by them, you're missing a great band.
I hope you're fine, have a nice weekend.
