Best Tracks – Songs which have been rated 4 stars and above will be listed under the best tracks section of my review. This is to separate the tracks which stand out as great from the rest. 5 star tracks will have 5 stars listed next to the corresponding song, while 6 star tracks will have 6 stars and will be added to my Sixx Stars list. An album may have no best tracks, or possibly even have every song listed as a “best track”, which most likely would only occur with one of my 5-star rated albums.

Album Ratings:

★★★★★ - Personal favorites. These albums are not only perfect, but have some sort of sentimental value to me. I am not too lenient on the albums which get 5 stars and these, in most cases, have been highly praised by me for a long time. An album must stand the test of time to earn this rating.
★★★★.5 - Worthy of 5 stars (perfect!!) but is not a personal favorite of mine (yet). Albums I’ve only listened to a couple of times, but have no apparent flaws will get a 4.5.
★★★★ - Albums I really like. These clearly stand out from the rest, though I acknowledge that they aren’t perfect.
★★★ - Albums I like. This is the lowest acceptable rating of keeping an album in my collection or on my wishlist. These albums are good, but far from great and sometimes even borderline average. If I find an album to be average but there are a few songs I want on my ipod or simply just to keep around, I’ll give it a 3. This is the most commonly used rating, as I find there’s a lot of decent music out there. These ratings should be taken lightly. That being said, good albums that could’ve gotten a 3.5 may also get a 3 if I don’t feel they’re at the quality of being a 4 star album. It’s a fairly loose rating that basically dictates what is worth keeping but isn’t “great”.
★★ - This is for boring/lame/unimpressive albums. Some of these may have a few decent songs, but overall are not worth keeping. They are neither good nor bad, but skippable. Albums which I find hard to rate or I am simply on the fence about may also get this rating, as I’m usually quick to figure out what I like and dislike.
★ - These are albums I am confident that I disliked and I wasn't on the fence about. I may give a decent review for one of these, saying how I liked some of the songs, but that doesn't necessarily mean I enjoyed the album.

Track Ratings:

★★★★★★ - Personal favorites. Featured on my Sixxx Stars list. Just like the 5-star album rating, I am not lenient on which songs get this rating.
★★★★★ - Equivalent to a 4.5 album rating. Perfect, but not a personal favorite. Best of album, but not best of all time.
★★★★.5 – Songs which are great and are worth being put on my iPod get a 4.5.
★★★★ - One of the best of the album. Really good and has moved me in some type of way.
★★★.5 – It is a good song that stands out above the rest, but is not one of the best songs on the album.
★★★ - I like the song but it's nothing exceptional. Songs which are simply “okay”, even average get this rating.
★★.5 – I mainly use this rating for unrateable songs such as intros and skits, but this is also used for average songs which are boring, but not necessarily bad.
★★ – Has some redeeming qualities, but is not good.
★.5 – A song which I disliked and found nothing, or very little, good in it.
★ – Terrible song.
.5 – I pretty much never use this, but it basically holds the same weight as a 1 rating, only it was completely unlistenable. Worst of the worst.

I'm not going to report some historical significance in this album either. I won't even tell you what the fuck type of music this is. I love it.
