I didn't know that. I take a while to get around to listening to new music so I have yet to check them out. And yeah I ignore the negativity too but all I can do is trust what I enjoyed. Can't change the past and if I had fun listening to a song I had fun. Couldn't care less about "hype" or who the "best" artist is, I just listen to music I enjoy.

And I just listen to anything that stirs my soul to be honest with you.

Hey you probably forgot you asked but I finally got around to listening to Sugar Ray's first couple of albums. I'd been in a hip-hop mood so listening to new music seemed daunting. That said I was pleasantly surprised, particularly by their 2nd album. Obviously they're not trying to be the most technically advanced rock band, but their music is actually pretty catchy and quotable and really hype. Moreso their 2nd album to me it felt a bit more creative to me sonically their music is like summery, skater-y hard rock that's not too hard on the ears. If I were in high school in the 90s this is what I'd play.

Yeah that's what I liked too I didn't expect their music to be so funky. I'd been in a hip hop/RnB mode lately so I was pleasantly surprised, particularly by Floored I felt like they got a bit more creative and found their own style. And yeah Fly was one of my favorite songs, probably the most relaxed on there. And yeah Psychedelic Bee is nuts lol. I wanna check out their later stuff though, they switched to a softer rock style around 14:59?

Lol it's okay I take forever to reply too. But I just really like that they can make catchy songs without abrasive instrumentals or screaming (to my ears). It's accessible and fun imo. But yeah I'll let you know what I think of 14:59. You already know I love Someday from it lol
