the sharing economy is kickass. Ubers are like half the price of taxis. I take em every week. AirBnBs rule because they're super cheap too. It just benefits people who wanna save money, and have smartphones and are very slightly tech savvy. Not a bad thing but you can pay more for regular taxis and hotels if you feel like spending more money is worth it just to prove your values

oh I'm well aware, I'm 25 and have never even gotten a driver's license. But a lot of times it would require multiple buses, maybe even 45 minutes of transit, to get what Uber could do in perhaps 10 minutes and $8. And let's say you have multiple people taking the bus, their fares combined are often MORE than what it would be for all of them to split a single Uber. :p
