Some of the bands who I liked, suffered from racist tendencies (Joy Division, Sham 69, the Art Attacks, and Adam and the Ants), But what of the relationship between musicians who have been accused of expressing racist and/or fascist views, as well as the effect it had on the subsequent development of those who supported it. Me and Logan used to go to the clubs and see them sometimes. Remember Logan was super attractive back in the day, so people over looked his other short comings. Logan was a little guy I rescued from the park, when I was still living in a Ft. Lauderdale squat. He was found flapping in the fountain. He's always been super timid and jumpy. Any time we would get bad storms I'd get his taupe thunder jacket for him. Well, the other night I was visiting a friend who was in town. He just got great news for an upcoming job reassignment. I was getting home late to begin with, but then my night went downhill from there. Someone in the area starting setting off fireworks, so Logan naturally got very high strung, running around the house. He was shaking bad and then I noticed he was breathing really off and quivering and quaking. I took him to the 24hr ER and they checked him out and did X-rays, as well as an MRI. He had fluid in his lungs, but the tests showed that his heart was enlarged. I had to leave him there overnight because of my job, and that was the worst part. He was so scared to be in a strange place and I knew he didn't like it.
He passed away overnight. They brought him back twice, but he couldn't hold on per what I was told. The doctors told me that Logan had been sick for a very long time and never said a word about it to anyone. It all still seems surreal to me. My other 3 are confused and dispondant as well. They keep running around the house, looking for him. I am so sad but I'm also a bit relieved that it over. I refuse to go to anymore shows in-till they stop this shit.

How was working in a kindergarten by the way? Was it full on kid-to-kid interaction or mostly paper stuff? Sounds like something I would be interested in if I plan on moving there for a while.
Also I found this useful phrase in my book recently that I might have to use if I decide to abandon my culture and live in Japan forever as a gaijin.

It was all kid stuff. I generally get along well with children but kindergarten is far too young for my liking. They're still learning their own language, let alone a foreign one. There were also a lot of body fluids. I forgot how gross they can be at that age.
Teaching in general is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn the language though. My Japanese would be absolute ass if I weren't here being forced to use it every day. I have no regrets about my decision two and a half years into this gig.
I wouldn't recommend it as a career path. My plan is to keep going until I'm N1 or at least N2, then find work elsewhere. Either in Japan or New York.
