I've only read the Da Vinci Code in Chinese. It was good and certainly a page turner. I haven't read anything else by Brown. As for Remains of the Day, I haven't read it yet (that's why it's still on my list). I wanted to read it because I really liked Ishiguro's other book "Never Let Me Go."
