Philosophy by which we can all enjoy music;:

pop and dance music can aspire to greatness without taking itself too seriously.
rock music has largely had its chance and blew it.
i'll always take a frivolous song with a personality over a pretentious song without one!
no genres are out of bounds if they have spirit and charisma!
singles and the charts are dead as a concept, and music is a lot poorer for it!
'streaming' is a poor replacement for ownership!
