That was a great description, you should copy and paste that comment to use as your review. 'New Britain' definately is impressive early Whitehouse, I view some of the instrumental tracks as like Death Industrial as they are very ambient and spacy in feel.
You view Whitehouse's best era as from "Erector" up to "Right to Kill: Dedicated to Dennis Andrew Nilsen", but I prefer their later period (starting from around 'Quality Time') with Sotos and Best as it was much more consistent. I actually consider Right to Kill to be quite bad, do you like it?
Good stuff, thanks for an in-depth response. I like his 'Colour of a Man's Skin' album best, Con-Dom has a real unique approach that's surprising for being so minimalistic and well, not harsh. Mauthausen is something I've not really got into, though it's similar in feel to Atrax Morgue stuff like N.Y. Ripper which isn't surprising. Felony Sexual Assault looks tight, i've seen it in related videos on youtube but never looked at it properly until now. The New Sadism is something I've really wanted to hear but have never found.
I'm not no, I just browse from time to time. I suppose compared to many of the folk in the PE section my knowledge would be somewhat average, for example I only physically own two Whitehouse records and a White Heterosexuals EP!
Thanks for the comment on my list- personally though I think it needs some more work especially in the area of hearing every release so I can write a description.
