I'm a 21 yr. old college senior at University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL), trying to find an outlet for my musical leanings with the enlightened folks of the internet because I've met precious few of them in reality (my roommate's favorite band is The Hunt for the Burning Red October or similarly bizarrely named Christian Metalcore group; I mean, to each his own, but when he insists that I give them the same I respect I'd give some completely unrelated and far superior band like Pulp that's kind of a stretch. As my brother Robert, aka TomViolence91, would say, "Never lose your pretentiousness"). If I've added you as a friend on last.fm it's because from a cursory glance you seem to have excellent taste in music that's parallel to my own. I mostly listen to quote unquote alternative rock and lots of electronica, although recently I've been getting into jazz, as the campus jazz collection is peerless (the rock collection, not so much. Unless you liked Backstreet Boys and N*SYNC and consider them rock... I'm still trying to picture someone \m/-ing to them). I am always open to new suggestions and musical experiences (why else would I be on here?) so feel free to make recommendations or open discussions with me. Seriously, I live for that crap.
My interests include fencing, making quote unquote musicwith my buddies ("Uncle Ben versus the Box of Infinitie Despair": coming to a Lowe's parking lot or high school talent show near you), collecting weird crap from thrift stores (that's why you may have noticed "The Men Without Hats Collection" in my music feed), writing, and listening to music (in case that wasn't obvious enough to begin with).
