Yeah, what you said about "My World" sounds just about right. Unfortunately, there's an excuse to be made for that song sucking. There are no excuses for "One in a Million" being such a shoddy song.

And I LOVE Rise Against. I have loved them ever since I was, like, 13! And their previous album was really disappointing, so I'm really glad to hear them sounding solid again. Their new album is incredible.

It's hilarious that you purposely mistake them for Against Me. You know Rise Against and Against Me! kinda hate each other, right? XD

But seriously, given my ELITE STATUS as a TRVE KVLT psych enthusiast, I think that Lt. Salt's is a laughable attempt by a mainstream pop act (aka da Beetlez) to garner attention for their stunning musical diversity (aka we experimental now, right guys??) by attempting to hijack a rather large music scene (aka British psych) to rake in even MORE critical acclaim (aka dickriding) and to draw in a more diverse fan base (aka more pussy). I think that part of the problem with Cpl. Oregano's is the fact that it IS just half-assed psych, and I think that it definitely tries to be psychedelic, at least to the somewhat amateurish psych standards of da Beetlez, as can be seen in the title (aka let's be really silly guys Sgt. Pebber lol) and the embarrassing inclinations towards what would appear to be the band's more taboo side (aka lol we do drugs LSD LOL). I see the album more as an awkward experiment by a group of talented musicians for non-musical reasons, so yes, half a star for the good old Lonely Hearts Club Band.
