Hi, you don't know me but I implore you to check out Beauty & the beat by Edan. & if you want to check out The Roots start with Game Theory it's their best & most accessible album. You'd probably have some less than kind words for Illadelph since it does meander on somewhat. Still a good album though, also glad you liked Donuts.

Yeah early roots while good might be a bit hard to get into & their style is a tad dated, but mid 00s roots is great. They suck now though, lol.

Vordul Mega on Cold Vein is one of the best rappers ever tbh.

It's weird how underrated he is. Everyone loves the production, and I've seen people give Vast Aire props, but hear nary a thing about Vordul's rapping. I guess it goes over people's heads, idk, but his poetic street lyrics are some of the most well done in the genre. Was never a huge fan of Vast Aire, but I do appreciate how he gives a nice contrast to Vordul's style. It honestly kind of saddens me, what became of them both, and how they were never able to take off after that.
Also, while I’m not sure I agree with Elmatic being better than illmatic, I do think that Elzhi’s performance is there is also one of the finest in the genre. Especially Detroit State of Mind, that song is phenomenal.

... No shit? Lmao. You don't need booze to enjoy a show, you're there for the music. Besides,I'm sober, booze means nothing to me.

I think all concerts should be all ages, music is for everyone of any age to enjoy. My two cents though.
