Oh she's so terrible, I only love 3 films with her in a lead role but yeah.

One is Marie Antoinette which you must have heard about, a peculiar biopic. The other is Crazy/Beautiful, a teen romance which struck me as almost a flawless film, even though it's "just" a teen romance.

Glad you liked 21 Grams so much, it's become quite an underrated film it seems and stands as remarkably low-key when compared to the rest of Innaritu filmography. I might have to watch Leon again sometime.

I'm doing p good. Start of year was super busy (hence my late reply). Toni Erdmann definitely is amazing, but right now I feel like it's a bit more disconnected from all these EMOTIONAL movies I watch recently. Loved Moonlight, Arrival and Jackie. I still think THE WITCH is THE BEST movie of 2016 - there's so much to it, so many things I downright love.

I heard really bad things about Hail Cesar, but some people now seem to really have gotten into it. As for Tarr... I dunno man... There's something to him that strikes me as so DAMN narcissistic... I understand his approach to how populism works (especially now that Trump sold that DAMN whale in a DAMN truck) and why he thinks is weird so-surreal-it's-real-approach is fitting, but to me it's just... unsuccessful? What did you see in it?
