basically i think kid a should be why people love radiohead, cos that really encapsulates them. if u love the beends, for example, other bands can give u that fix adequately.
in rainbows would have to be my favourite, if im being completely honest with myself. i love every song. then kid a has my favourites of all times, but similar to what class said, some of the tracks seem to go on too long with those ambient noises. (but i think that's what its about).
ilike, i tihnk kid a is meant to be a depressing slog to get through, and in the end of the album the energy picks up into a more positive vibe, and it's kind of a reward at the end. the light at the end of the tunnel. well, that's my feeling about it anyway.
i think i proper radiohead-head would/should have kid a as number 1 spot.
Really pumped to see where Lynch and Frost go with it. Lynch will be directing all 9 episodes, whew. I'm going to try and find some time tonight and re-watch the first season.
