Here are the rules regarding all my lists:

What is not allowed...
1. Compilations, Best Ofs, Greatest Hits, Box Sets
2. Singles - 2 songs or less

What is allowed...
1. Compilations where the majority of the songs are recorded within a small enough time frame and make their first appearance on an album- certain Movie Soundtracks for example
2. EP's - 3 songs or more
3. Live albums, but they only have real merit if they vary substantially from their studio versions, like jazz or jam oriented albums for instance
4. Bootlegs
5. Albums of new material that were recorded within a small enough time frame but then not released until years later - The Basement Tapes for example
6. Only 1 version of an album is allowed, as in if there is a European and an American version
