Word game

Word games are games which involve the manipulation and understanding of language, especially vocabulary. Sometimes word games involve the construction of words given a field or limited list of characters, such as in Bookworm Adventures (2006) and Words With Friends (2009). Word games also often intersect with guessing games in the form of games like Wordle (2021) or video game adaptations of the game show Wheel of Fortune.
