Stealth tactics

Stealth tactics games rely on stealth mechanics and tactical usage of a troop to complete objectives. The games commonly feature control over a relatively small squad and employ mechanics commonly featured in stealth games, such as sneaking or using disguises, as well as vision cones (representing enemies’ vision range), and usage of equipment and abilities. Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is often seen as a pioneer of the genre and inspired games such as Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive, Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood, or Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.
