Skiing

Skiing is a sport involving the use of two boards attached to the feet to glide along a surface such as water, snow, or sand. Skiing is most commonly recognized as a downhill winter sports activity, occasionally featuring racing and trick-racing elements such as ramps, checkpoints, and finish lines. Skiing is closely related to boardsports, which usually refer to sports involving a single ridden board as opposed to two parallel planes.
