Skating

Skating is a sport or activity consisting of travelling upon surfaces such as ice using skates. Ice skates are fitted with blades and are primarily used to travel on ice, whereas rollerblades are fitted with wheels and used on hard surfaces. Skating activities are often considered winter sports or extreme sports depending on the context.
