Roguelite

Roguelite games are inspired by traditional roguelike, almost always featuring elements like permanent death and randomly-generated levels. Unlike traditional roguelikes, however, they often eschew traditional RPG and turn-based combat elements in favor of other things like platforming or strategy. Additionally, roguelite games often have unlockables that persist across play sessions.
