Rallying

Genre
Rally racing games aim to simulate the sport of rallying. Developers may focus on sim racing, such as the World Rally Championship and DiRT Rally series, or go in an arcade racing direction, like in DIRT 5 or Shox. Rally sims have lifelike physics models usually designed for wheel setups and feature point-to-point rallying competitions against the clock (often with an AI-controlled co-driver) and championships such as the World Rally Championship. Arcade rally games feature more forgiving racing models and often emphasize off-roading, and may also have traditional single-player campaigns. Some other racing games like the Forza Horizon series feature rallying on the side without it being a main feature.
