Not as good in terms of side content as my favourites in the series (0 and 5) but it might actually be my favourite story wise. Really enjoyed the more introspective feeling of it. Switching the focus back to just Kiryu's story and the heavy emphasis on the theme of chosen family make it work really well as closure to the "Kiryu saga"
thanks for letting me know. does any other yakuza game have the same issue? ik the kiwami remakes don't have the original soundtracks but i'm probably only gonna get around to those when i play the originals lmao
Even for Yakuza standards this is melodramatic as hell [3]. Still, for some reason, I think this might be my favorite story in the franchise? I didn't really mind that it was heavily melodramatic for the most part. I really loved this game, probably the first time that I felt like, just walking around, not even doing distractions or the main story. Is it my favorite game in the franchise? No, but i had fun with it.
