Title
Technically about as good as EU, but I have to be brutally honest and say that the instability really harms the game no matter the platform you play it on, and it makes the previous flaws of not quite having the enemy variety it needs and causing some late-game fights to drag stand out a bit more. But still, it's XCOM! The balance of short-term tactics and long-term strategy has never felt as strong as this, and though the finale kinda botches the greater potential of the story, what story is there is surprisingly compelling. Great stuff.

Title
Defeat the alien race once again
A brilliant game that definitly surpasses the 2012 title for me. More enemies make the game harder in the first stages, but the amazing variety of tools you are given to work with means that there is always a solution to the problem at end. Loved the new classes, and how they strive for sinergy between soldiers much more.

It still has some issues on the technical side of things, but i can forgive that. Its tactical heaven. You will be cursing the RNG and sweating at clutch moments. One of the very best of all time.

    The pacing is very overwhelming during the first several missions (Even if you recently played EW), where it just keeps throwing stuff at you and escalating at a ridiculous pace compared to the previous game (Where it was all Sectoids for like 5 missions straight), which has made some of the more understated spooky elements of the previous game feel lost in a much more action-focused game (which is weird since this game places much more focus on subterfuge). But overall this (WotC specifically) is a pretty solid improvement over the previous game in more or less everything else. The gameplay elements have been honed particularly well and once you enter the groove it's non-stop fun. Has the same issue as the previous game where it just gets way too easy in the late game but at least the last mission is a sufficiently meaty challenge, and it's overall still harder if only for the early game which can be super brutal, and it's definitely more replayable. Can't wait for a third one, wondering where they can go from here.
