WWE 2K19

I do not get why people like this game. It's no different than the sluggish garbage 2K kept releasing (not counting 2K14, since that was still using the old "predator technology"-styled gameplay) from 2K15-onwards until 2K22 redeemed the franchise.

The graphics are fine for what they are, with the major stars obviously taking precedence, but the gameplay is utterly sluggish, where even the fast-paced cruiserweights will trudge around like the Great Khali, and nothing about it feels fun, and the animations are weak sauce mo-cap garbage that looks about as devastating as Nikolai Volkoff's "soft slam" backbreaker from Heroes of Wrestling '99.

A lot of people would point to No Mercy (or even HCTP or Fire Pro) as the most overrated wrestling game of all time, and I strongly disagree when a grappling turd like this exists. This game gets a lot of unnecessary praise where it doesn't deserve it. Being the reputed best game among a sea of 2K suck doesn't necessarily mean you're great after all....

I don't even need to go into 2K's stupid microtransaction practices, because you already know that, as Alberto Del Rio would say.

The best way I can sum this game up is food served at a 3.5 star restaurant that tastes like expired crackers.

i made osama bin laden with a britney spears t-shirt fight dwayne "the rock" johnson. this is the greatest. who gives a shit about fighting mechanics or microtransactions or any of that horse shit? this series consistently has the best character creators. one of the best fuck around games ever.
