World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth

Amazing how they can replace something as interesting as early-Legion artifact progression with something as dull as Azerite armour, Literally all my traits are just passive, random procs. So fun.

Even more amazing how they thought the best thing to do was not build on either of those systems and just drop everything in Shadowlands.

Blizzard doesn't tell in game stories that well anymore, but I will say that Jaina's story in this was pretty good and she actually became my favorite character during BFA. The only problem is 90% of people play Horde and didn't see it because Blizz does nothing about faction imbalance and instead of seeing the awesome Jaina story they got to see the intro to the trainwreck that would be Sylv's story in Shadowlands. So the majority of the player base saw the worst half of the overall narrative and saw them nuke the greatness of Sylv so that we can have a shitty story about her being a mind-controlled stooge of The Jailer.

barely played this xpac when it was current, i quit early on. returning to it is ok i guess.

didn't care about any of this boat, admiral, fleet shit type aesthetic. didn't care about the zones very much except for Drustvar and that's only because i got mega witcher 3 vibes from it. Jaina's story is definitely kewl but i was never a huge fan of her to begin with so that didn't excite me too much.

wasn't this the xpac with the underwhelming Old God raid? that shit should have been an entire xpac by itself.
