Amnesia before Amnesia was even an idea, too bad it's so hard to configure on more modern systems.

Wtf is this rating? I could understand the remake but the OG is great

I can. The original is better in almost every way (Some of which are unintentional) and yet it suffers from clear aging problems. Developer Sonnori doesn't understand what made the original scary either, so I am not surprised they failed to recapture the magic.

This had one of the best atmospheres of a horror game ever (even before the likes of games like Condemned, Soma, and PT) and it was really cutting edge at the time. There was flaws with the game more in retrospect and I don't think it's aged as well as them other games may have. But the tense feeling of this game, the graphics which were of course in anime fashion but never looked like it took away from the theme, music, and constant hiding made this a great game (which I still do think with it's pros it's unmatched by many)

The progression and voice acting could've been a lot better and overall there are some spots that aren't as well kempt or well balanced as the methodical game style in which you play at. But the fear is there and it's still prevalent if you look past the flaws. Still so much better than whatever that remake was.

A cult classic, literally a cult classic. As for the remake, it's definitely a game for sure
