Oh boy how I've lost so many hours to this game, can you blame me considering how addictive it is?

So why is this game addictive as hell? That's because there's a ton of quests you can do that strangely don't get old no matter how many times you repeat them. Granted there are story campaigns you can complete in the game, however it's true appeal are these missions (usually best played with a friend to increase the difficulty they have to offer.) These include collecting vital information from a secure location (preferably undetected) protecting precious cargo from large waves of enemies, a capture the flag mode similar to what Star Wars battlefront perfected a decade prior, a survival mode where you earn higher rewards the longer you remain in an area and a mode where you need to sabotage the enemy’s communication among others. The fact these missions take place on different planets in the galaxy of course means that the level design is very different depending on which planet you’re in, also there's different layouts of each of these areas, further preventing the game from being too repetitive. There are also tons of collectables in each of these levels you can use to craft new weapons as well as mods that the enemies drop to further power up said weapons. There's also an rpg element where you can level up your equipment and even the type of suit you're wearing to make it easier to take out your enemies. There's plenty more to talk about, but I think you get the idea of just how much this game has to offer.

This is my favourite free to play game period, it puts mobile gaming to shame as while there's microtransactions, they're only there to speed up certain parts of the game which is completely unnecessary given how much it has to offer.

Don't play this if you have a social life

best mechanic about this game is that if you dont feel like working for something, then you can just buy it! only thing that keeps me going

its good but it makes me want to kill myself sometimes

Despite the legit awesome aesthetics and satisfying power-fantasy gameplay, Warframe's gameplay loop of farming and grinding for endless hours just to be able to farm and grind more efficiently while unveiling a decent-at-best anime sci-fi plot that moves at glacial pace just feels like a thinly-veiled skinnerbox that leaves you a hollow husk of a person. Game can be addictive as fuck but not in a good way.
I got literal thousands of hours invested in it and now I've left it, the only times I ever look back is for superficial reasons (aesthetics and music), but then I remember how it feels to play the actual game and it all goes away.
The butts are fantastic tho, some of the best ever in the business.
