I went to F8, a Facebook conference in San Jose, a few years ago. Zuck himself was on stage talking about a dating function for Facebook (which dropped Mate.com's stock price by 10+%) and VR of which Vader Immortal was the big push.
They had a huge line up to demo the game, which I skipped out on.
Each guest to F8 was "gifted" an Oculus set.
I got mine and gave this a shot back in 2019 and just didn't get into it at all. I'm not a Star Wars fan.
Fast-forward a few years and my nieces want to check out my Oculus which has been collecting dust in my closet.
This is still the top game besides for Beat Sabre and other demo-style games.
My god is this a disappointment. My nieces beat the whole three episode game in about 30 minutes. I had to help with the frustrating parts. But it just feels like they teach you what to do, you go do that thing. Then they teach you another thing you can do, then you go do that thing.
Then the game ends.
