Title
I never understood why this game received so much hate, sure it's not perfect but it's way better than people make it out to be.

I guess people’s biggest issue is that the gameplay is slow and derivative, I'll agree that the walking speed isn't great, and I guess it's not the most original game out there, however the combat is faced paced and there's more originality here than most FPS games of the time. Really my problem is that like most early 00s games, the level design is too spacious, which really does make the walking speed much more egregious than if it were more cramped. I've also seen criticism towards the humour of this game, it's admittedly an acquired taste (very nostalgia critic at points) however it's far from the most unfunny humour I've come across (if you want unfunny humour, try watching videos on the YouTube homepage.)

Overall, this is a fun if flawed game, I'm probably being kinder to my score than I should, but the flaws don't bother me in the slightest.
