visuals, sound and story make it an excellent hommage to kurosawa, but the gameplay is really janky and things only get worst as it gets more difficult in the later chapters
has anyone encountered their controls to be delayed/not responding? i'll want to block or turn my character, but he either does two seconds late or not at all. anyone else?
A really beautiful game with average to not good combat. I loved the story but the combat was very unresponsive and sluggish, especially compared to the ai. This made some sections of the game super frustrating, even though I was playing on the easiest difficulty. The game felt a little long and aimless at a certain point, but overall I enjoyed it. Will probably not play it again, but if you want a graphically beautiful game that won't take up a lot of your time, you should give this game a try.
idk, I actually enjoyed the combat. Felt weighty and methodical, and appropriately paced to me. Either way, the presentation and atmosphere are phenomenal.
