It's been said before, but this is Perfect Dark's spiritual successor. I only hope Microsoft makes something good out of the PD reboot they have brewing.
Very few other shooters had this much content in them as far as sheer mode variety and distinct locations. Campaign takes a HARD spike in the last two levels but is pretty cool nonetheless.
Atomsmasher isn't all that hard after a while once you figure out where all the enemies spawn, don't rush the third bomb too much and actually use the timed mines they give you.
Maybe it's a difference in skill, but Normal ain't a walk in the park. Problematic levels like Atomsmasher and Robot Factory are still a pain with all the barrage of enemies coming at you.
Thus and Perfect Dark were by far the best console shooters ever created, and felt like perfect fits for the consoles rather than poorly made ports from PC. Even when young they created for me a clear "distinction" of overall expectations, console shooters in particular where fun hotspots of splitscreen with my dad or friends. So much fun.
Now Robot Factory on hard...
