Another walking simulator, but this one is not as good as they usually are for me. Perhaps my least favourite out of the most polished ones.
Getting out of the way the visuals, which are bloody fantastic, im finding it hard to find good reasons to play this one. The story is mysterious at first but ends in a lackluster ending, and is neither gripping enough to hold me all the way. It offers an extremely forced twist ending, that after its shock has faded leaves the player feeling unsatisfied about the whole experience. Besides walking, the game also offers a few puzzles, which are frustrating as some of the clues are really hidden in the environment. Its also obtuse in ways that it really shouldnt, and it hampers the pacing of the game.
Overal its just a mediocre game, and i am pretty disappointed considering how much praise it got when it came out.

Just did not land for me. Too many degrees of separation. I'm fine with non-literal and unreliable narratorship, but in the end you don't really uncover anything about anyone. An unrewarding twist that undoes any sort of grip the narrative could have had on you rather than enriching multiple playthroughs. Overall, other games have done similar stories better imo (Try Edith Finch).
