I get that they were going for a more chaotic arcade-like experience, but I can't help feeling this would be more satisfying to play if you could clear out rooms instead of having enemies respawn infinitely. I can't in good conscience call that a criticism since the intent was clearly to create that frantic feeling of being constantly on the run, but I think I'd have had a lot more fun with it if it was dialed back just a tad.
