Title
I liked this game a lot as a kid and even beat it a few times. I remember it being sort of hard, I always got stuck on certain levels that would just destroy me. Its actually cool in concept, you get to play as dinosaurs and fight other dinosaurs and humans, then you can play as humans and shoot down dinosaurs. The problem is the controls are kind of awkward, you can mainly bite and do dash attacks, and often times enemies will try to do the same to you so you have to navigate around them. The controls as the human are probably the worst where you have to aim exactly at the enemy and then you have awkward platforming segments where you swing to different moving platforms. To be honest the 2 best segments are the first where you play as the Compy and its mostly based around platforming and fending off against bigger predators, and the raptor who just has good agility and can tear things apart. The 2 humans were really awkward to control and I often found myself dying to cheap segments. The T-Rex was cool in concept but his levels all played the same and all you did was spam the bite and eat button to move forward.

The music was pretty decent too and actually sounded like music from the movie, and the sound affects were kind of cool. But overall, this game is pretty average, it isn't awful and there are far worse Jurassic Park games, but there are enough annoying and bad segments that this game does lose some of the good things going for it. Even as a kid who loved this, I always felt the platforming in this, even as the dinosaurs was incredibly inconsistent and awkward, and I never found the human to be fun and often times you'd have to aim your gun awkward to hit certain enemies and it made the segments more frustrating not to mention there were certain weapons you could injure yourself with. Also its kind of frustrating that the game is based around a password system and if you lost all your lives you had to restart the entire segment with that dinosaur over again. I also felt there could have been a slightly greater variety of dinosaurs since you often would face off against the same 5 dinosaur types.
