I get the exact same immersion-to-the-point-I-forget-I-exist thing from this that I got from playing Minecraft at age 11, except as a grown ass adult trying to dip out of their own existence as much as possible. I had no idea a game could even do this to me still. Instant fucking 5. Not even 10 hours in. The only gripe I have with this is the occasional repetitive and/or dumbass comment from your character ("Wonder who owns this stuff?" bro, it's the apocalypse, shut the fuck up) which you shouldn't turn off because they also say crucial status checks. Other than that, I'm stunned. Going through Carter Hydro Dam with the aurora going on, knowing that this wasn't a horror game or a shooter and nothing was going to pop out and/or fuck me up but still exploring the creepiest possible type of location I can imagine, gave me the most pleasant chill on a cold winter night. This game is like a dirt cheap depression meal that also happens to be nutritious as hell. Hope I'll never get sick of it.
^spot on my exact feeling about this game, I don't get this rating
Yeah, you just renamed them into wolves.
