Because of shitty performance on my PC, I actually enjoyed it more because the encounters on hard are much more challenging when you play them in unstable fps.
It is good. But man some of the parts are drawn out. The whole Tommy/Joel part where the game turns to Uncharted for 30 minutes is so boring.
The whole Robert fiasco at the start of the game is also dull for me. The best parts of the game are where it is you and Ellie, scavenging through old coffee shops and libraries and the dialogue in those moments is great.
this game is good but i think gaming's general lack of good storytelling compared to other mediums (especially in the mainstream) makes this seem much more golden than it actually is. I had this opinion for a while but after watching the show it kinda confirms it. The show just didn't hit at all even though it's more or less the same thing. I think it's a best of the worst vs a worst of the best kinda thing
i also think the gameplay itself just isn't fun on easier difficulties but on harder difficulties it's annoying and becomes a chore to play. there's just no solid middle ground for me personally as a player
agree, had genuine good time when it came out but the follow up is just so much better in every regards to me, just the core story itself is a solid league better there imo. i'm a bit perplexed how is this passing that with such a far stretch on the charts
