Title
Well, Shivering Isles has a cool and very pretty world, funny characters and some memorable quests, but many of Oblivion's core issues are even more apparent in its smaller world. There are only two different types of dungeons, and they are often even intermixed, so the old complaint of "every dungeon looks the same" is more true than ever. Also, while the characters are funny, most of the quests are just fetch quests. Oblivion could cover up some of its problems with its large world and variety, which just doesn't work on the small Shivering Isles.

Title
Shivering Isles is the proper way to do a DLC, and Bethesda just hasn't learned that since the DLC for Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Skyrim have just been huge disappointments. Shivering Isles takes you to a colorful World with bizarre characters and quests and it is just as memorable as the better story missions in the game. I really enjoyed this and it adds a lot to the main game. Its not perfect, but it compliments Oblivion incredibly well, and 10 years after having last played this, I still remember many of the moments in this DLC.
