Title
Despite a superficial similarity to Pong, Table Tennis is actually quite a different game. Unlike its arcade cousin, the "paddles" have full two-dimensional freedom of motion and the ball trajectory can be curved in either direction. at any point in its path, by the player who hit it. There are no boundaries and no in-game scoring.

In some respects, Table Tennis functions less as a game than a template for one, so I find it difficult to rate. The Magnavox Odyssey was the first video game console and deserves credit as a trailblazer. However, in gaming, an experiment can only be considered successful if it doesn't feel like an experiment.
