This is almost identical to the original Breakout. Which still makes it one of the best games of its era, but the mild twists (two-paddle mode or having two balls "trapped" within the blocks) don't seem like much advancement for the two years since the release of the first Breakout.

The Atari 2600 version of the game for some reason is the version I keep coming back to. Like if you switch to game 8 which is referred to as "Children's Version" is actually a much more relaxing gaming experience. Sure it may be too boring and simple for the modern age. But it does leave me in a zen-like experience. Problems melt away and alleviate stress. For me, this is a basic game and its not a bad thing! Plus the little thing I liked about the Atari 2600 version is that you can select what sounds you like by resetting the game. I like the low frequency sound because I find that a whole lot soother.
